On February 6th, two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred in Turkey within one day, followed by several aftershocks of magnitude above 6, causing a large number of houses to collapse.

After the two strong earthquakes, several surrounding power plants were severely damaged and ceased operation, resulting in a shortage of local electricity consumption. Only 110 kilometers away from the epicenter, the HUNUTELU Power Plant invested and constructed by Chinese-funded enterprises in Turkey felt the earthquake strongly.
