SWANCOR HYVER, Innovative Infusion Resin Solution for Wind Turbine Blades
Global Wind Energy Council predicts that the number of increased wind turbine in China will be more than 30% all increased numbers in the world by 2023, and China will become the country that owns most wind turbines in the world. Currently the price is more and more competitive in the wind power industry, it is a critical goal in wind power industry supply chain to increase capability, optimize quality, and reduce cost.
Large-blade wind turbines is a global trend, the use of larger and longer wind turbine blades in wind farms with slow wind speed in China can optimize power generation efficiency and help increase return on investment. Swancor Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. Swancor cooperated with a well-known wind blade manufacturer in China to product a HYVER wind blade for slow wind speed farms in June, 2021. The wind blade is over 80 meters long and uses HYVER in infusion process, it is a successful breakthrough in the trial production of wind large-blade.
Before the trial production, Swancor and the customer implement comprehensive verifications of material property, structural design and key process to establish a solid technical foundation and lead the successful first wind turbine blade trail production.
This year, chemical raw materials have generally risen up caused by global epidemic of COVID-19 and force majeure climate conditions. The price is more and more competitive in the wind power industry, as the main raw material for wind power blades, the price of wind power epoxy resin has risen accordingly. The price of wind power turbine has continued to fall in response to market competition, wind power turbine and wind power blades manufacturers are facing unprecedented pressure to reduce costs. Swancor has launched the solution “HYVER” to solve the issue, the following are HYVER advantages and characteristics.
