Flame retardant materials are necessary to ensure the safety of life and property in transportation vehicles. Swancor launched a new flame retardant auxiliary material for composite materials - FireRex FR110, which is used for rail transit and other parts. Compared with ordinary resins, it has the following characteristics:

-Flame retardant auxiliary material for composite materials.
-Can be used with infusion, pultrusion, prepreg and hand lay-up processes.
-Can reach the level EU EN45545-2 R1: HL3 with appropriate resin system.
-Compared with traditional flame retardant solutions, FireRex FR110 has advantages such as light weight, better interlaminar performance, and better mechanical properties than ATH filled system.
